Market.Be is the first company in the world to reimagine business as an end-to-end sustainable commercial offer. We nibble away at big world problems, with a local focus.
Our subscription box services only use ethical suppliers, are delivered through a network of low carbon transport methods, use compostable materials and recycle every food waste item into compost. Including hard to recycle materials like meats and bone. Each specifically tailored to that local area.
Working with councils across Greater Manchester and the UK. we provide community horticulture organisations with facilities to help recycle all waste material, cutting out industrial composting facilities needed and removing meats from landfill. We also help councils recycle normally expensive, non-biodegradable material, like chewing gum, into functional items the general public can use. Like wellington boots, combs, pencils, pen casing and more.
Our aim are to achieve all 17 of the United Nations sustainable development goals by 2030. We support the removal of single use plastics from the retail ecosystem (shout out to #KickThePlastic) and use cycle couriers for all last-mile delivery. Creating jobs and cutting out carbon at the same time.
Chances are, if you’ve heard of someone else doing it, we probably got there first.
